Sam Altman Removed from Open AI
Perhaps not as dramatic as our Inhumane Exit headline, but bad enough. Literally last week we showed you the OpenAI Dev Day featuring none other than Sam Altman, their CEO; and now just a week later he’s been asked to step down and removed as the CEO of OpenAI, by it’s Board of Directors. Apparently they thought Sam was moving too fast to launch products without giving much heed to safety, and also that he was driving OpenAI to be much more profit driven than the non-profit it was meant to be.

Background: Most people may agree that Sam Altman is one of the sharpest CEO's and nicest persons in SF (San Francisco) tech. He was President of YCombinator (legendary early investor company) and has helped fund some insane projects like Nuclear Fusion.More on Sam here and his Fusion project here.
