Twitter will now allow people to tip influencers on the platform with Bitcoin. 🤯It’s actually a really good use case.. transferring money is rather easy with bitcoin, compared with complex methods of sending money via banks 😅.
While Jeff Bezos has been ‘tipping’ 🤣 startups; or more accurately investing in startups pursuing the goal of immortality.. using “biological reprogramming to rejuvenate cells”. Did you know the Immortality & Longevity market (yes thats a ‘market’ too) is estimated to be worth $600 billion by 2025 😱😱😱.
And Apple has been courting more anti-trust trouble.. The EU has proposed all phones must mandatorily have a USB C port! Apple has been fighting to keep its ‘lightening’ ports instead. Per EU its a pro-competition move since users can use any charger to charge an iPhone, thane one specified by Apple.
Netflix acquired rights to all of Roald Dahl’s works by purchasing his Estate. With titles like Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, they are hoping to make a "unique universe" of products. Its costing Netflix reportedly > $100 million; given they made ~ $30 million on his works in 2019 this should work 🚀.
Last week Amazon raised minimum wages to $18, and this week Apple is rewarding all its retail employees with a surprise $1000 bonus 👏.

Influencers: Creators that make a variety of content on Social Media services and have a large following of interested users 🙋♀️🙋🙋♂️.
Use Case: a way in which a product can be used 🤷. If you ever become a product manager, you’ll need to think of a whole lot of use cases 🚀.
EU: or the European Union is a common economic market made up of 27 countries, that allow free trade and movement of people within them.
Estate: Can mean multiple things but this the above Roald Dahl context it means all of his properties including the rights to his works.

My dad insisted we put this section in here, even though I protested saying its going to be a while before kids need to apply mental models. Mental models are nothing but ways of thinking, you can use as a framework, to take decisions or solve problems. Who knows, they might just be useful!
Creator 🛍 or Consumer 🧑🎨 ? A mental model for life choices. A question we all must ask ourselves. Do we want to be Creators or Consumers?
If we are only consumers what happens? A consumer spends money and.. pays it.. to the Creator that created the product that was consumed 😱. Creators EARN 💰 (even free Bitcoins if you pleases), Consumers BURN (SPEND) 💸. In essence, if we can, we must strive to be creators. 🔨🔨🔨 #repeated in light of our Twitter influencers story.Tech, products, toys ++ 🤖
Not as exciting as last week’s Apple release 😆, but Microsoft launched 5 new Surface devices.. including atleast one interesting 2-in-1’ish laptop called the Surface Studio starting at $1600 🤷.
