While the metaverse ☁ is just about kicking off, the world wide web turned 30 years old (its still younger than dad 🤣). Tim Brenners Lee turned on the the first ‘network’ of what we know today as the World Wide Web 🌐 way back in August 1991. He will likely be earning $41 million annually and is rumoured to have been paid a signing bonus of $30 million 🚀; what’s for certain though is that he’ll be wearing number 30. Metaverse: A virtual world 🌍 created on the internet. It can have virtual land, homes, shops, virtual characters (people), clothes, products and more e.g. concerts. The metaverse in many ways reflects our real world, but makes everything virtual.

Meet Sir Tim Berners-Lee our inspiring business person of this week.
Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee is the inventor of the World Wide Web and has since constantly worked for its improvement. He created the first Web Browser (front end app where you see an internet page e.g. Chrome) and Web Server (back end where all the logics are coded). Listed as 100 most important people of the 20th century by Time Magazine, he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 2004 for all his contributions. Mr.Berners-Lee is a professor at University of Oxford and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

My dad insisted we put this section in here, even though I protested saying its going to be a while before kids need to apply mental models. Mental models are nothing but ways of thinking, you can use as a framework, to take decisions or solve problems. Who knows, they might just be useful!

Under screen cameras are finally a mass-ish production reality. Xiaomi (remember them from last week?) just launched the Mi Mix 4 device with a 3rd generation under screen camera an all screen phone finally! 👇👇👇 P.s. they also just launched a 4 legged robot 😱.
